Best AR Mags

The LAR 10 round mags are only good for holding those rounds. The over all quality of them sucks. Welds are cheap, and break easily, feed lips are out of alignment etc etc.
Just run 5 round PMags.

I actually never really had problems with the LAR 15's. They feed fine, drop free and seat nice. That is really ther only Cprod that works for me. The pmags in my XCR run like a champ never ftf just they dont hold open on the last shot always. The standard C-products end up jamming the bullet all up in the brass because of the feed.

Mine are earlier ones, they work fine and they are trouble fee. However, C-product quality did seem to go downhill as they were getting closer to their demise.

Is the 5 round rivet on the P-Mag rubbing the mag well?

Was the rivet. I filed it, now it drops free. My C-products doesn't though. It doesn't have a rivet (has an indent instead). I think its the thick coat of paint.

I like the RRA LAR mags for the 10 rounds .. but they are just OK otherwise ... the magpul followers are good.

Ive had great luck with Bushmaster 5 round "US Hunting" mags. They are Aluminum and have never had ant FTF at the range...

e-mags aren't molded specifically for an AR magwell. The E stand for "European" as these are optimized more for euro-rifles like SCAR, HK, et al.
