Best AR Pistol Magazine?

I am running a Bushmaster M17S bullpup rifle. It has a very high grip and a short, half-length magazine well. It is very comfortable to fire from the ground balancing off the pistol grip because the front edge of the grip is at the exactly in the center of gravity. The PCV magazines are the perfect length, and the base is about 1/4" higher than the bottom of the grip. Anything longer gets in the way.

ATRS mags work even better in an M17s. Quite well.

Been waiting for those ATRS mags to show up for a long, long time.

The PVC-50 Beowulf mags work well, but I agree they feel cheap and if you put in too many rounds the feed lips bend and make it difficult to insert the magazine. The follower is also black, wish it was a bright color.

The metal LAR mag I have works great, no problems with it. Just wish it was longer.

So for the Metal magazines, what is the difference between them? I see that there are apparently three RRA LAR metal Pistol magazines; the standard Grey ASC magazines, Black/Orange ASC magazines and Black/Orange C Products magazines. Any difference between them?

ATRS are the best I've used. They look good, and they work. I just wish I bought more when I had the chance. I'm sure when(if?) they get more they are goona sell like crazy.

You can sign up on their website for the "Notify Me" email for when their new mags will be available; they are now having them manufactured by a local Cdn company, so I think it's safe to assume that production leadtime & delivery will be a tad faster than with CAA!

I've been on the email list for some time now. And I hope your right, because I'm sure they will sell fast. Just like that first batch. Still kicking myself in the ass for not buying more.

The ATRS mags are almost too good to be true, if there was a steady supply of these mags, what reason would you have to buy anything else. They are better quality than any LAR mag out there. And just as good as any P-mag, other than it can't be taken apart, and that it might be a bit short for some people.
If they can keep up with the demand they'll pretty much own the market for AR mags in Canada. At least until our ridiculous laws are changed.

that could be for the better or for the worse...

ATRS gets my vote, reliable and had no issues seating on a closed bolt.

Size is perfect if you need to go prone as well.
