Contemplating buying an automatic scale, trickling each charge by hand is getting tedious.

Any recommendations for a repeatable scale for VERY small charges (1.5-3gr)?

What cartridge are you reloading that requires 1.5-3 gr and what powder are you using?

I don't know if you have tried have tried it but with pistol powders in small loads the Pro Auto-Disk Powder Measure actually is pretty accurate , its not what your asking I understand. My auto dispenser is the Hornady Lock-N-Load Auto Charge that has performed well. I check it against the old beam scale and it works. Haven't done any mouse fart loads with it though.

Well since you said “best” I’m going to have to also say the Auto Trickler with FX120. Be prepared for some sticker shock but it works very well.

Yeah best is fx120. I went from a two scale set for accuracy - Chargemaster then verified with gem pro 250. Then got the fx120, cut my load time in half with same or better accuracy...way happier with this - much less fuss.

But for pistol powder using such small doses, not sure if the fx120 bling is worth it for that - do you need .02 gr accuracy?

The more I think about it the more I think a simple but accurate powder measure would likely do just fine. I am using bullseye and it looks like something that would measure pretty well.

How wrong am I to think that .2gr out of a 2gr charge would have enormous consequences comparable to 2 grains out of a 20gr charge?

The Fx120 with Auto Trickler and the Bullseye powder measure will both do the job. It just depends on how much money you want to spend.
