Best Bang For Buck--9mm

I haven't seen much on the nz85b, but it really interests m. Is there a reason it's not more popular? Seems like people enjoy the CZ 85B and it comes in 9mm. I am hoping to grab one as my first non .22 handgun if I can find one.

No direct experience with one, but I think the difference in interest is due to the economics (prices approximate):

$350 for the CZ clone, or $350 for the Sig clone. $700 for the 'real' CZ, and $950 for the 'real' Sig. It's a big jump up to the real Sig, not so big up to the real CZ.

3 years ago I picked up a cheap Norinco 213 and 2000 rounds of ammo for what my M&P range kit cost.
The norinco is closing in on 5000 rounds now that I have shot, no idea how many were put through before I bought it as a used gun on the EE.
Bad trigger and all, it gave me a chance to try it out and to learn from others how to properly shoot.
After buying the M&P 9 range kit, the old girl sits a bit more but still goes out on range dates from time to time.
I went cheap first so I could at least practice while saving up for either a glock, S&W, sig, or ruger.
Go with what you can afford at this time but remember not to blow the wad and not be able to afford ammo!

tanfoglio force 9mm...or force Pro 9mm. I think I saw them priced at $480 on Freedom Ventures website.

A buddy of my son has been shooting with him and decided he too, would like a 9mm handgun. What do you guys & gals think is the best for the $$. This is just casual shooting & he lacks lots of $$. I have one of the 100 $ Norincos from a while back but not sure on reliability for a new shooter. (still NIB :( ) Thanks for any ideas & will pass them along.

S&W M&P9 Range Kit $650-$750 bucks
comes with a great handgun
3 magazines, 3 interchangeable backstraps
magazine holder for 2 magazines, a polymer holster for your pistol
ear plugs, and range ready gun case.

A $900 cz cadet and 2000 rounds of ammo is cheaper than a norc and 2000 rounds of ammo A much better gun and a whole lot more fun. Worth thinking about.
