best bang for the buck for a AR Optic?

Just hit MilArm and P&D and Cabela's and couldn't find amy Burris products at all.

Was pretty disappointed with all the stuff I saw. Even had a empty credit card too boot!

I feel your pain. Had my heart set on one of those new 1-4x Bushnell AR scopes because I want exposed turrets. But, they aren't going to show up till mid summer, if at all this year. The Leupold Mark AR Mod 1 hasn't shown up here yet either. There is nothing up here with exposed turrets that isn't made my NcStar ot the like...
