Best bang for the buck game feeder.

My Deer camp buddies and I are considering getting an inexpensive automatic feeder, to try and attract the deer to feed on our hunting land during daylight hours this year. I'm in the GTA and looking through the Lebaron and Basspro catalogues I see various Moultrie and American Hunter options, which seem to start around $120 plus tax for a basic tripod feeder and timer, excluding rechargeable battery etc.

Any advice or recommendations on any of these. Good deals, things to watch out for? Are they a worthwhile investment?

a motor is about 50$, a barrel another 10$.... build your own and save a few.

That one of yours looks great, really sturdy. Where do you get the drums from for $10?

The other problem I have is I dont have any welding equipment.

have a look at my second feeder.... all plastic, no welding required.
