Best brown bess repro

Marstar sell the Pedersoli line and I believe they have Brown Bess copies... These are well made guns (at least the ones I have tried a couple of years ago!)

probably if you want one that is for serious shooting, a pederzolli is better. if you want one that shoots, as well as looks the part correctly, loyalist. im about half way through a kit from loyalist, a first model sea service. looking good, going together tomorow i think, for a test fit, maybe a test fireing

If you are interested in an original they are selling them here for $1200 USD
wwwima-usa.com
Or atlanta cutlery has converted percs. for $1000 USD

Cheers nessy.

BB Musket

I have heard from friends who know that the BB's from Nepal are not in good shape...and should not be fired. I have a 75 cal. mould and can make balls. The killer is the postage. Funny...I tried to buy 75 cal. balls from a firm in the U.S. and they wouldn't send them as they are prohibited from export....figure that! Dave

Yah shooting a bess is all the fun, I couldnt just go for a wall hanger. So does someone carry these lead balls in Canada? Is there a period correct set of loading instruments to buy aswell?
