Best budget AR lower

80 dolllars for a NEA lower = gamble on "maybe it'll work, maybe it's to spec, maybe it's wrong like many documented cases"

OR

20 dollars more for an aero lower = 99% chance it's good to go, no or minimal documented issues with spec issues.

Your money, but for a measly 20 bucks I'd go with a sure thing over a gamble. A manufacturer doesn't change their name because things were going so well for them. Think about that.
Make that 99.999999999999999% chance it's good to go. Aero has an actual quality control department, unlike NEA.

Can someone please enlighten me in what is wrong with NEA? I bought one because it's cheap ($70) figured how could I go wrong. But every time I see a post about it it's usually not good :/

Lacking quality control. Out of spec parts make it out that shouldn't.

Yours is probably fine. The majority are. Just the percentage that aren't is higher than it should be, and they tend to leave the facility instead of being identified and quarantined.

Yes they are $10 did you not know? This is worth my time. Also if you don't know the difference between an Omni hybrid and Omni 1 then don't need your response.

I like higher quality items. I wouldnt take an Omni for free. I stand by my recommendation of an Aero lower over any Omni lower. The hybrids are $89.00 at Wolverine, which is the model you recommended.. Way too much compared to an Aero at $99. Are the Omni Gen 1 even still made?

ATI omni Hybrid.
