Best bullet for Bison

My Buffalo fell to the 50/90 Sharps, as it should be, 530 gr flat pt., 105grs. of Swiss 1 1/2fg.

Thats the KICKER Ben. More have fallen to black powder and lead bullets than will ever fall to smokeless and jacketed stuff.

I guess that if Bp and cast bullets pretty much wiped them off the map, it is prolly the best thing to use.

I have not had the pleasure, but if I had the opportunity, my .458 x 2 inch American would be loaded up with Barnes X 300 grain spire point, over an accurate handload.
