Best Buy on Stevens 200

I'm looking to buy a Stevens 200 (in .223) and the best place I can find to buy from is SIR mailorder for $335 before taxes and shipping. Does anyone know of a place that can beat that price?

Wholesale sports has them for 319.95

Just checked them out myself, they're actually $360 at Wholesale Sports. If they had some sort of sale on the Stevens I guess I must have missed it.

I have one back ordered from WS @ $319. But the 223 is the hardest one to find at a cheap $$$ Most places are sold out.I did get a 243 from Canadian tire in Kenora for $319 + taxes & shipping.Should have it tomorrow & can load 55 gr. bullets at 4000 fps. DAN>>>

Well I just called SIR mailorder and they don't have a single Stevens in .223 and aren't expecting any for about 6 weeks! Now I'm looking for any dealer that has them in stock, the price is flexible now!

I think I may have found a used Tikka T3 Lite for $500 + shipping. The Stevens would have come out to about $400 even after taxes and shipping so I think paying maybe $120 more for a used Tikka might not be a bad idea... I might just have a slightly harder time finding the money for the scope heh.

Go with the Tikka. The Stevens is a decent rifle, but it's no Tikka.

Hahaha thats what I thought! I'm still waiting to hear about the avalibility of the Tikka though, but I'm hoping to get a good response. Because of the higher cost of the Tikka I'm going with a Bushnell Banner 4-12x40mm scope, a decent choice?

You're better off with an older Scopechief VI. RSI has what appears to be a decent one (3-9) for $145. I've had both and the Scopechiefs are definitely a superior product.

The Tikka is still avalible to me for about $600 with taxes and shipping in (didn't know there was tax charged on used firearms...) so I'm thinking about getting that instead of the Stevens. I'm going to look into the Scopechief optics though, thanks!
