Best Canadian Milsurp dealers?

I collect and shoot firearms which would be defined as "antique" more than "curio and relic" (to use an American term) and have dealt several times with P&S Guns & Militaria, with nothing but the best of results.

Jean Plamondon is a gentleman who, if anything, under-grades his wares, and who gives exemplary service. One example: I bought my military-configuration Model 1910 Ross rifle from him (after he put me on a "want list" and then contacted me when some became available). After I received it I noticed that one tier of locking lugs on the bolt head was damaged, which he had not seen. He immediately made arrangements to acquire a replacement at his expense and have the parts dealer ship it directly to me. Can't beat that for service!

Needless to say, I have no hesitation in dealing with him, nor in heartily recommending him to others .....

Attention Westrifle !
Are you guys still selling SKS models??? I looked at your website and it seems you are only carrying Mosin-Nagant models.

Thanks

i too have had good dealings with PS militaria, only draw back is the money order thing but the prices are pretty decent and a lot of selection

X2. I bought several Garands from Jean a few yrs ago. On receipt I found a couple of the safties were broken. He replaced them for me which was appreciated.

My remarks about your list as follows:

Marstar - Great warranty. Website sometimes falls out of date. Phone - they don't do e-mail well. They NEED to get online store inventory in real time added to their site.

P&S Militaria - Everything is hand-select, descriptions are usually under-described so you end up with better rifles than you expect in my experience. Amazing communication and customer service, but they don't accept credit cards and don;t have online ordering which is a minus.

Tradex - Great prices and customer service with online ordering, but no hand select and they are often not the lowest price because they don't want to compete with their dealers (they are a distributor).

Westrifle - A nice dealer who only really sells com bloc stuff. In general their service and prices are excellent. I dislike their ordering form, but they may have changed that (?). Only negative I have is that their SVT40's had cut mags at one time.

Collector's Source - Probably the single best place to get obscure and high-end rifles that are rare and in nice condition... however they are the most expensive dealer in Canada. You have to pay to play here...

Weimajack - Fantastic dealer, but I believe he is primarily only on CGN. His stuff is premium priced but generally better condition than rival dealers. No cc orders which is a minus.

Ellwood Epps - Great place to shop in person. Not so great on the net.

Frontier - A LOT of ppl provide good feedback about this dealer. I've bought 2 guns from them, one was a rusted POS that was way over-described, but they refunded me. I gave them another chance and got a really nice handgun from them. I would buy again.

SFRC - I've only ever bought parts and ammo from them, but was always very pleased. Nice website with easy ordering.

At the risk of hijacking the thread...

Does anyone have any experience dealing with "zefarm"?
Appears to be a small milsurp dealer out of Quebec but I've never seen them mentioned on the usual forums.

We will be getting SKS in as soon as damn ship arrives in Vancouver. Delays with our Christmas and New Year and overseas holiday Jan 7 and 14 Slavic Christmas and new year.
