Best cheap ammo

my 10 22 preferes 36gn hp cci mini mag . shoots almost as good with the mini mag 40grn. so
me match is even better but too pricey for plinking. shoots fed bulk or dyna points reliably but not as accurate. a well tuned 22 will shoot anything but some brands will be better.

I like how everyone posted what they like to shoot but few posted the cost.
Being honest I bought over 12 different boxes of ammo to see what my su22 likes. I find bolt actions are less picky.
Anyway WSS has American eagle 5000 cases for $200 taxes in. Thats 4¢ a round.
However the dynapoints group amazing but jam.

Surprised nobody has tried the Winch M22? 1000 for 49$ at CT. Have been rocking it in my 10/22 for a bout 2000 rounds now, no issues. Stuff works great in semi-autos. But then the 333/555 and federal bulk and just about any copper washed/plated ammo works as well.
Blazers. They are dirty and you will get the occasional flyer, but they seem to cycle the best in the semis and put together some decent groups out of the bolt guns too. Tested 15+ types of ammo through my anschutz and blazers were there cheapest good performers.
Like someone else said, get a 50rnd box of everything you can find and see what your gun likes.
