Best Cheap(ish) Over/Under?

Shooters Choice has some super deals right now, one is a Cortona, which is O.E.M. by FAIR and is under $900!
Screw in chokes as well.
This gun is equivalent to the FAIR LX600, and they shoot very well.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is wrong with Baikal's O/U lineup? Are they too heavy, or do they have cheap parts?

They tend to be a bit "clunky" feeling, and some reports of not being reliable.
They are also a bit heavy.

Heavy is good, for shooting 3" heavy loads.... but not, I suppose, when you want to carry the gun all day for a few shots at upland birds.

I've always heard that Baikals "don't have any plastic parts." Is that true?
