GOT IT OUT!!
Quick update-I should probably upload some photos, but they'd be of a choke tube sitting in my blue-nitrile-gloved-hand. lol Well, it was very satisfying to see this tube turn. The previous 2 nights, I'd really soaked this with penetrating oil but more importantly, from the inside as well. The tube is actually longer than expected, glad I confirmed. Having mangled one of the Carlson wrenches I now own, I looked through the metal scrap bin at work, mostly old machine parts, fasteners, etc. Grabbed every flat pc. of metal that might fit in the notches on that tube. A galvanized "L" bracket you might use building a fence=that was the ticket!
I wasn't expecting anything different, had the adjustable wrench ready for more leverage, heated it up with a hair dryer again, positioned my new "choke wrench" and gave it a few sharp tugs-voila! Wish I could say the whole inside was corroded, but honestly...it was quite clean. Some faint rust on the threads-yes, but overall...this tube was NOT "as" stuck as I thought it might be.
Now to learn a little more about these Colonial tubes!
Thanks to everyone who chimed-in.
