Best Christmas ever! Wife bought me a brand new Colt from Arms East

My wife got me a brand new Colt 1991 from Arms East.

Best Christmas ever!

This NRM model (new rollmark) looks much better than the original 1991. A very nice deep matt dark blue finish, with polished flat sides.

I had been staying away from the Series 80 because of the firing pin safety. But I found that trigger pull on this Colt is not bad. Not bad at all. I will look at how the safety works, and maybe remove it later. Or maybe not if it does not bother me.

Waiting for Arms East to bring in the blued version of Series 70 now.

Not the best - a little rattling on the slide when I shake it, and the barrel bushing is not very tight. One of those that you can disassemble without any tools.

But it is expected on a basic Colt and does not bother me.
