As cool and bad-ass as it is, the KX3 isn't really a compensator... A
bit of a flash hider maybe, but definitely not a comp. Much like the PWS CQB muzzle device, its primary purpose is to direct the sound and fury (blast) of a short barrel AR downrange to offer some protection to the operator and/or his team when shooting in a relatively confined space (aka indoors).
I have a battlecomp on order with OST but I see that they no longer have them listed on their website...

That's too bad; I am eager to see if it lives up to its reputation as the poor man's Triple Tap.
I guess the next best true comp that you can get in Canada would be the
PWS FSC223 at Questar. A great comp, but friggin' loud!
If what you really want to a way to lessen the previewed loudness of your 10.5 incher, then either the Noveske KX3 shown above or the
PWS CQB (Questar) will be the ticket. Personally, I prefer the PWS CQB as it offers more flash suppression than the KX3. But both are great devices.
