How does KG12 compare to Bore-tech Eliminator?
you must be doing it wrong lol. CopperZilla lets me push nice long cork screw coils of fouling out with zero effort. Smells nice too![]()
Pro Shot Products copper solvent is also very effective, has no ammonia and no strong odours.
I must be using it wrong then. I'll give it another try next time. How long did you let it sit in the bore?
I use M-Pro 7 Copper Remover - unbelievable stuff.
Abby
Really?? Because the stuff I got is crap. I put some in a shot glass and put a bullet in it for a week the bullet still looked brand new. I put a bullet in a shot glass of otis and the solution was black and the bullet had a noticeable amount of copper gone.
Sweets 7.62 is the most effective but is nasty stuff , dont get on your skin of leave in the bore too long cause its powerful enough to etch the metal if left too long .
Sweets is good, but CR-10 is more aggressive, and KG-12 is more aggressive than either of those.
Another vote for WipeOut. Almost zero scrubbing required. Spray the foam, let is sit a few hours, run a few patches and you're done. The sh!t just works. Stay away from CopperZilla or FrogLube solvent, they do nothing.
Wipe Out for me. Just don't let the stuff get on stock finish as it will strip it quick.
