best copper fouling solvent

I used Wipeout for a long time and it works really well. I switched to Boretech Eliminator and love it. Back to simple patching out. Cleans up great. Once in a while I will leave some Wipeout in overnight as a double check and never find any residual blueing from the copper after using Boretech. I would rather just clean it up than have to leave it over night. Boretech will also clean up the carbon fouling better than the Wipeout will, plus I found the Wipeout eroded one of my muzzle brakes (Roedale).

I use a jag a few sizes smaller than the bore with a soaking wet patch. I push the patch through from the breech until it just clears the muzzle, then I drip a few more drops of Zilla on the exposed patch and pull it back to the chamber to ensure the full length of the bore is coated. I let it sit for 30-45 minutes then run a dry patch through. If there is any copper in the bore, the patch will come out indigo blue. If the fouling is heavy, it usually comes out in flakes and sometimes nice curly coils of copper. I repeat the process until there are no signs of copper oxidation on the patches. Usually 2 passes is all that is required.
 
I use M-Pro 7 Copper Remover - unbelievable stuff.

For normal carbon fouling I use the M-Pro 7 Gun Cleaner and then Weaponshield for the lube - the bore shines like chrome and the rest of the weapon is spotless.

'Not sure exactly how the cleaner works (something about surrounding the fouling with a negative charge thereby repelling itself from the bore steel), but the Weaponshield is a creeping oil (kinda like Ballistol on steroids) and seals all the pores on the metal 'conditioning' it. Regardless, after a few applications of the Weaponshiled, fouling doesn't seem to get a grip on the barrel, and what does - the M-Pro 7 takes it off easily.

Really?? Because the stuff I got is crap. I put some in a shot glass and put a bullet in it for a week the bullet still looked brand new. I put a bullet in a shot glass of otis and the solution was black and the bullet had a noticeable amount of copper gone.

It didn't work very well for me either. Sweets 7.62,Cr-10, and KG-12, all removed copper much quicker.

Another vote for WipeOut. Almost zero scrubbing required. Spray the foam, let is sit a few hours, run a few patches and you're done. The sh!t just works. Stay away from CopperZilla or FrogLube solvent, they do nothing.

In fairness to FrogLube the solvent doesn't claim to clean copper fouling, it's a petroleum based oil solvent.
 
Just picked some KG 12
Look forward to see it perform on my bores cleaned previously with wipe out

However the instructions say to remove the KG 12 after cleaning with KG 3
Of course do not have KG 3

Since KG 3 is just a cleaner/degreaser what else do you guys use?
I have on hand...
