Don't matter what you use, hence why I'm using my
.300 rum this year.
For coyotes, hard to beat a .223 for availability of cheap ammo, reloading is even cheaper, less noise(for farmer's family) and pretty much a DRT caliber to 150m.
22 250 is flatter and louder but fast
.243 is good where wolf and yotes overlap and is a great deer caliber
For me its a 22-250 Voerre, occaisionally M77 V/T in 25-06. Any 22, 6mm centerfire, throw in the 204, and whatever you have in your hands if you dont mind ruining a hide or your chances at deer.
