Best day in 30 years coyote hunting!!!

Been on a few days like that, they are the best! Great job! Brings back great memories!

Best coyote action I was in was pushing bush. 8 man crew pushed out 22 and got 12 down. I went 5 for 7 with 51 shots! The old R1 barrel was HOT that morning!
Not as good of shooting as you guys, but man was it FUN!

Brad anyone can pull the trigger, hitting a running coyote takes practice any one can master that!If you can track a Coyote and not lose him when he runs in circles and gets on old tracks ect you are more valuable than a trigger Man!!!!!

We would love to see 22 coyotes come out of a bush,we get a average of 30 a year and our high with out dogs is 49 or 50 I cant remember. When you get 1/4 of your production on one day it is pretty exciting.
Drillbit 5 for 7 is a great day, 12 is beyond a Ontario's hunters wildest dreams.I hear stories of the northern hunters having more come out of bushes at a time but I would not know!

Side note your R-1 how accurate is it ???

I know that.... why do you think I want to tag along.... that is a skill I would like to see in person.... :)... best I have ever been able to do is track them into a bushlot or draw and realize there was nothing coming back out.....

We have moved the old dog off the front lines,he is just a trigger man now.Well deserved after years of service!!!!!!!!!!The young dogs will do well if they learn half of what the old dog knew!!!

R1's good, it's a 22" 30-06. Shoots 3/4" left / 3/4" right of the bull, alternating depending on how many rounds in the mag. 100m with 150gr SST lightmags.

Well within hunting specs for me. Have a longtrac BAR too, that is a cloverleaf gun, but it just doesn't fit me or feel as good.
