Looking for a good deal on bulk (500+ rds) 223/556 in my area (KW-Toronto corridor). Not all of the stores have websites, and not all websites are going to list everything. Are there any brick & mortar operations that have prices comparable to the online outfits? I'd like to pick up a crate for my new toy arriving next week so if anyone has spotted any hot deals in this area give me a heads up.

Lebaron actually had a good deal on Winchester 55gr target loads... Way better than the MFS stuff, they used to run about 8$ a box, with is about the same price as some of the online places that sell them in bulk... They don't sell them by the crate though, so youll end up walking out with a huge bag of bullets lol

Le Baron if in stock and often good sales, Al simmons, hamilton seems to best non sale prices in the area

One might say that a signature proclaiming your love for a dude named Max is pretty "ghey" too.

I noticed that latley Wal-Mart has been stocking FMJ Winchester 55gr's for $9.47 a box (20rds). Not such a bad deal there.

Give Target Sports in Gormely a call (see sponsor ad above). They didn't have 223 ammo on their website but they had plenty in stock when I bought some in November - $379 for 1000 rds American Eagle with a green ammo can.

$9.47 seems a little pricey when you're buying 500+ rounds worth... But I do like the Winchester ammo... Cycles better in my rifle than some of the other budget brands

It pre-dates your time here junior, you wouldn't understand...Well, maybe you would. He's into Salvages as much as you are apparently...;)

I have to agree. Posting your current list of owned firearms is pretty lame. I just don't see the point? Is that supposed to attract a mate?

I think its pretty lame how people take the chance and say things over the internet, but to be given the opportunity to say it to your face......hahaha I would like to see their re-action.

Back to the OP's topic!!!

Although I didn't really need more ammo for my AR's. I couldn't resist picking up another 500 rounds of AE at Fishing World in Hamilton for $179.99 a few weeks ago.
As the OP is fairly close, purchasing ammo locally takes shipping cost out of the bottom line.

To continue the above, I don't post up a listing of the firearms I own for my own personal reasons.
If the OP wants to, that's his choice, I don't understand why he should be 'slagged' for doing this.

Many members have lists, quotes, post quotes, etc., so be it!

LIES!

On another note, has anyone shot a significant quantity of the Norinco 223 that is advertised at SFRC(I think?) for $499/2000?
