Best deal on Precision rifle in Canda

I still see a few Mauser98 with heavy barrel float around for $300.

I'd appreciate a PM with directions next time ya see one. There are a bunch of Shultz and Larsen barrelled ones out there. I always seem 10 mins or 100 bucks too late.

As for the bolt handles there are lots of options most of them cheap, some of them free. My first swede spent alot of it's life with a threaded bolt tacked on to the stub. I bought it after watching it work over some 400 yard targets like nothing I'd ever seen. ugliest 75 dollar sub MOA rifle ever!

Where are you located at?, I am in Edmonton, and I do see quite a few come around, I got one last year, with 27" heavy barrel .825" at the muzzle, in 6.5X55SM, but is only barrel action for $300, but what I did was Purchase a Boyds stock for the rifles. the Original trigger on the barrel action was not very good, so change out for Timmy Trigger...

Just got a VG example of tradex's barreled action deal.

I wont BTT this again but thought I'd give newbs and veteran shooters alike one more chance to think about grabbing one of these.

Not to be a salesman but I think part of the future of precision shooting in Canada is dependent on people being able to shoot/compete with out spending thousands on actions and barrels. That money needs reserving for bullets, powder, primers, gas and optics. These swede rifles would allow ANYONE in Canada to step straight into many facets of the precision shooting sports with out financially induced equipment handicap.

Total cost shipped was 225. Bore is mint, trigger is tuned to a crisp light condition which I 'll have a hard time blaming for anything. Lock time is much faster then the regular swedes.

The heavy barrel exceeds even the high quality swede barrels we usually see.
You wont buy a nicer .264 barrel anywhere. Very proud tube to own.
