Best factory load for tikka t3 .270

Just bought a new Tikka T3 .270, can anyone recommend a good factory load for deer hunting?

Federal Vital-shok 140 gr. Nosler Accubond's (Premium), or the Federal powershok 130 or 150 gr.

Tikka Rifles will generally shoot most ammo fairly well. Like Gatehouse said, for deer just about any bullet will work fine. For the 270, look for weights in the 130, 140, or 150 range. Before I started handloading, I had good luck with Federal ammo.

Alot of deer go down using the Federal Power Shocks in our hunting party. Ammo is decently priced, shoots good and is avaible in every corner store in Sask.

I liked the Winchester Supreme ammo - 140gr Accubonds you can get for your 270Win. The Federal Accubonds or TSX if available would be good also. The new XP3 ammo may be out for the 270Win in 150gr. I sure would like to try this in one of my 270WSM.

Try looking at P & D in Edmonton, they may have some in. They carry a great selection of Winchester Supreme ammo. If not, go with the Accubond CT's in 140gr - you wont be sorry with this ammo from factory- great performance.
