Best firearm for a helicopter pilot?

Why not just leave his exisitng gun in the bag where no one will see it? Making a new expensive gun to have it live in chopper stowage would'nt be my first choice of extraneous expenses. Cooey made a nice single shot 12 gauge at one time.......

16" barrel, in .45 Colt, and it is a takedown, so I suspect it would fit in a very discreet bag.

That's a funky little Winchester...:)

Bit pricey and the pistolgrip combined with the crescent looks a bit odd but funky none the less.
 
Jennings ioutdoors (?) in BC does the takedown model on the marlins as he did mine a few years ago. I think the price was around 650 at the time.

Try one of those Puma Model 92 clones in .44 Mag. with a 16" bbl....Doc Rowland sells them....light, compact, and lots of hitting power....
