Best flash hider for a shorty 5.56?

...was playing with one of WG's ubber shorties tonite with the Krink brake, it made the little gun run well and kept the "thump" to a minimum, the Sig shorty next to me was almost unbearable, gotta remember to double bag the ears from now on...

So I'm asking will these work on a Swiss Arms CQB? Is the thread the same? Can anyone help with this one?:(

I have been told it`s a M14x1 LH thread. Do I know this for sure, nope.
I asked John Noveske and he says they should be and is going to make some, I asked TSE, they did`nt know for sure but that sounded right, I asked Swiss arms they never responded :)

So who`s gonna yank their CQB FH off first?

Someone already did but I can't find the post. I remember they jerry-rigged, well a jig, to fit between the forks.

I can't believe no one knows for sure? Thanks for the info though.

Well It`s funny but I did get a email reply back from Swiss arms today about the CQB`s thread pitch and basically they said "Yes it is true, our flash hiders have a M14x1 LH thread."

So everyone was right, now if Noveske will actually ever make them...

Krinkov Flash Hider for 5.56mm
One problem with 10.5" and shorter M-16/AR-15 barrels is a great amount of concussion is produced which can upset the shooter, and his team, especially indoors. The KFH, (short for Krinkov Flash Hider), directs the blast forwards, away from the shooter. Using the Noveske Krinkov flash hider helps generate back-pressure for reliable cycling on short guns. The powerful muzzle flash of the 10.5" barrel is minimized. The adaptor is threaded 1/2x28 TPI Class 2A internally, and features a unique design which helps maximize gas entrapment. This is avalible as a complete unit ready to install on any 1/2x28 2A USGI threaded barrel. The new US made Noveske KFHs are made to exacting tolerances with specific materials. The body, cone and end cap are parkerized and heat treated CM. The US Noveske KFH design is exactly the same as the original Bulgarian. An ATF Tech letter is avalible with purchase.

New threads in stock, select in drop down menu:
9/16x24
M15x1 LH
M14x1

This is not a sound suppressor.

(rifle not included, rifle shown for application only. Finished US Krinks are parkerized and laser engraved.)

Now offered with no adaptor, original M24x1.5 threads. Works on 5.45mm and 7.62mm weapons. It counts as a US part for builds.

Fire Breathing Pig laser engraving is available on request.

Length: 3.2"
Diameter: 1.375"
Weight: 8.8 oz.

UPGRADE NOTICE!!
After recent testing, we have upgraded the cone material from 304 SS to heat-treated and parkerized 4142 CM. Previous customers of the US made KFH with SS cone are welcome to send their SS cone in for a free replacement.

$125 US. So anyone done this for the SA CQB? IF not who's going be the first?:)

Seems they have an improved version which lists a M14x1 LH model.

This is designed for lowering the concussion caused by short barrels, especially shooting indoor.

Couple questions. What's the difference between lowering the concussion and being a supporessor? Can someone give me a proper definition of "concussion" in this context?

Does anyone in Canada sell these?

The idea is it helps direct the concussion/sound forward of the shooter, the sound will not be less just makes it more pleasant to fire and be around anyone firing.

Anyone get one yet for the SA CQB?

Ya it seems to work , there is still lil flash and bark but it less intense than before. I`m not used to the look yet tho , I guess it will grow on me after awhile :)

No more headaches? ;)

Ya sigger no more headaches just the voices now :) , I got the first version with the updated cone, I think it actually looks better than their new version and the threads are on the outside.
Thanks sigger for hooking me up , I`ll try and get a pic up in the next few days.

Mind if I hijack this thread for a moment? What's the best FH for a 14.5" bbl? The Krink sounds like the cats ass, is it still suitible for mid lenghts?

Thanks,
Dave
