well im looking at buying the tech sight for my sks from hical, they recommend the hiviz front sight but reviews ive been reading have been pretty much subpar, guy from hical even said the front sight fits loose :|

so what would you guys recommend for a new front sight or should I keep whats on it

thanks in advance

There is a front sight post that is smaller by about .020 than the stock sight. It works really well with tech-sights and the factory rear sight. It gives you a better sight picture.

The Ameriglo(?) tritium sight is a little wide but so far I like it. I have the super thin tech-sight and its cool but not sure if you had to acquire a target quickly. Sometimes I think the stock front sight is the way to go.

I have the thin Tech-Sight front sight too and I really like it. It especially helps at longer distances where the stock front sight appears too large on the target

I have the ring front sight with a cross hair in it. For target work, I use the crosshair. For CQB, just center the target in the ring. The ring is about 1/4". I have very old , fuzzy eyes.

I have wanted to try one of thosewhere did you get it If you don't mind me asking.

I have a Williams Firesight front and factory rear. It's certainly better than factory, but it's not adjustable. That's a big issue, at least on mine, since the gun seems to be zeroed for around 100yards...I'd love to be able to zero it further in.
