Just wondering, what is the best all-steel (non-plastic/polymer) 9mm pistol in the market? So far, CZ 75B and Sig 226 are the only ones that I know of. Any other suggestions?

I am only interested in new productions , not old/collectibles. Thanks.

Ummmm..... Hello - 1911, Beretta/Taurus.... etc

I've got a Jericho 9mm "Baby Eagle" and I love it. It's an Israel Weapon Industries pistol based on the CZ but designed mostly by Tangfoglio. The weight cuts down on recoil but tends to pull my pants down on the right side when I wear it holstered (probably an issue with any all metal pistol).

"Best" for what? Target, competition, plinking, IPSC..........

Trigun; I do mean all-steel pistol. I thought sig 226's have all-steel frame. Thank you for info.

Westicle; I agree. P 210 may be the most accurate factory made pistol ever, but apparently, the last one was made in 2005. used ones are very expensive.

Stevo; best for ...mostly target shooting.

P 12; bhp is a nice alternative. I have only seen them advertised by Wolverine. No price mentioned. Do you know how much a new classic goes for?

Sig P226 or FN/Browning Hi-Power.

EDIT: if price is no object: Sig P210, HK P7M8/M13, S&W 952

Again, lots of good pistols are being named here. But would you please read the question carefully? Only asking for better ALL -STEEL, NEW PRODUCTIN pistols.

P7 and P210 new production pistols?!

Howdy

I thought the Beretta 92 was an alloy frame?

If your a casual target shooter, a Browing Hi-Power Mk3

If you are serious about target shooting with a 9mm, a SIG 210

Sticker

I thought Beretta 92FS was an alloy frame (not steel) too?

So far for me it is one of the two, CZ 75 B or BHP standard. About $400 price difference there (CZ $650 and BHP about $1050). I am thinking CZ.

Hopefully, CZ is cheaper than Browning only because of the name recognition thing and otherwise, just as durable and fine a gun as the Browning! It is.....RIGHT??
