One day I decided to try the 88gr. Berger VLD Varmint bullets I had sitting on the shelf for 10 years.
I was shooting my 6mm Ackley Imp.
(With a barrel I built under the supervision of a friend.)
I tried a load with imr4350,r22 & 4064.
When I fired my first group, I got a group around .2"!
I was excited!
I shot the next group, and it was under.1!!!
The third was near the .2 again!
I was stunned!
My shooting partner didnt know what to say, lol!
He hadnt shot with me much at that point.
Those loads shoot awsome out to 1200. But I have never shot that well at 100yards since!
It was a glowing "Moment" for me. Lol!
Good shooting KDX!
Try to repeat it.

but it doesn't even compare to my fully custom benchrest rifle which cost more than twice that amount.
