hey, very cool!

I have a similar picture, same target even.

I had to use reloads to get it that tight, but I had to peer thru the factory sights to do it. Some guess work for sure.

This is my group with reloads from 2013 with irons. If not the flyer, would have been respectable

What bullet did you use with this? I'm presently working up a load with Varget for my K31. That GP11 is great stuff but I can reload cheaper. Not much cheaper mind you but reloading is a hobby in itself.

That is an AMAZING group for that 2011 production Norinco ammo and a Mosin!!!! I'm one of the people that shot an entire crate of it through my SVT40 and two different proven accurate Mosins and saw only 3" groups with it at best. Even then I think it was a fluke and I pulled the shot into make a tighter group. Typically I'd see 4"-5". I still have crates of it because it was only $199 / 1000 and at that price, it's excellent. My SVT40 loves it. For me, I only use it for plinking that's all. I've had the best groups (often 1.5") with 60's production Chinese 7.62X54r.

Well sir I was of the same opinion of the nork ammo as you are. Only good for plinking. However it is starting to sort of grow on me. I probably won't be able to recreate same results for a while, although I do have few crates to try. lol
Price point of this ammo is hard to beat as well my svts and mosins do like it and it does go bang all the time.
One thing I noticed that it has different cannelure on some bullets in the same batch. So if its sorted by cannelure I get more consistent result.

For K31 I used Remington 150gr core locked sp. Epps had these bullets for 24.99 while back and they have long ogive which is crucial in K31. Sorry I don't remember the COL, but I think it was just long enough to fit into the chamber and close the bolt.
Yes GP11 is fine however I prefer my reloads in k31.

I suspect if you hand load you can get your scope to last. GP11 is very "abrupt" in how it recoils.

My hand loads using 38-39 grains of a few different powders are very soft shooting.
