Eagle International or whatever it is has a 308 sized RS-Q2 or something coming soon.
ETA - don’t be poor and buy a APC 308.
The wife and I were discussing a new hunting rifle last night and it got me thinking about hunting with 'black rifles'. We may have a few that were not on the OIC but the FRT was changed after May 1st. These are rifles that we could quick-swap uppers depending on the use case.
So, if I were to build an upper, is there a big game round (moose or elk) that would work well out to ~ 250 - 300 yards?

Do you mind to shed some light on this?
Very unfortunate that my Stag 10's future is still unknown this sounds very interesting.
Herron arms can do all of that.30 AR is probably the best possible option, but sourcing a bolt and barrel extension is unfun.
The people behind this, which apparently is a International Firearms Corporation/Adler International Eagle RS-Q1:
Are also building a 308 sized action version, which I think I saw mentioned will be maybe called the Osprey RS-Q2 although I may be a bit off on all the names. KBarms website has some mention of both versions.
Well, that's not really true. You get used to triggers and the manual of arms. Something as small as switching to a nice aftermarket trigger in my personal AR reduced my proficiency with my issued C7. Training on a different platform has very little cross over once you get beyond the some training is better than none learning curve.
When will they be available for purchase on retailers shelves?

The RS-Q1 (556)and RS-Q2 (308) are covered in the below two threads:
A summary of 5.56 / 7.62x39 Black NR Rifle Options and Prices
A summary of 7.62 Semi Auto NR Rifle Options and Prices
I try to keep them updated at least once a month to provide the most comprehensive list of currently produced and/or being imported Non-Restricted options on the market. It is full of video links, reviews, articles and high level information. The aim is to get away from "Just go to your local gunshop" or "Just search around" levels of information and to provide new shooters in particular a wealth of information.

Who has it available for sale is really all I need to know, that way I can ask questions directly of the person who has hands on the item I am looking at purchasing
Weight, Oal and Accuracy are my main concerns when it comes to modern sporting rifles as my main use is hunting.
An NR AR15 size rifle chambered in 308 like the POF Revolution would be the ideal hunting rifle
They've already sold a couple hundred units. If you google "RS-Q1 for sale" it shows shops selling it.
