Best Leupold Prices

Not without an export permit they won't..
Depends on the model of scope. Some are classed as "war material", and some are not. At least the last time I checked that was the criteria. A simple check with the company invlved would clarify things though. Some companies won't ship to Canada no matter what. - dan

When I bought my Leupold Mark 4 8-24X Wolverine supplies beat every shop in Canada by several hundred dollars. Infact I was quoted a price (lowest I found) and when it arrived (less then a week) at there shop it was even less. I recieved a nice note from Pat saying that she applied the credit towards my other purchases still on order or they would send a check. Wolverines service to me is worth paying more for.....but the great thing is it diden't cost me a penny more. :)

I've found the folks at P&D Enterprises to be excellent. I bought a Leupold spotting scope from them last year at an excellent price and they beat Wholesale sports on a 2.5x Leupold a few weeks ago. Nice folks, excellent service, small Canadian business, and a CGN supporter. They deserve my business.

I generally wince when I see Leupold prices in Canada compared to other makers particularly Bushnell.

Cabelas sells the Leupold Vari X-III 2.5x-8x and the Bushnell Elite 4200 2.5x-10x for $399USD or $454CDN at today's rates.

The same Bushnell Elite 4200 2.5x-10x currently sells for $461 at Le Barons and $489 at Wholesale. Not really too much of a difference at $7 and $35 respectively.

Meanwhile the Vari-X III 2.5x-8x goes for $597 at Le Barons and $619 at Wholesale, a difference of $143 and $165. Quite the difference.

I've owned both scopes the can't justify the higher price of the Leupold product compared to the U.S. prices and it's hard not to conclude Canadian purchasers are taking a considerable ass pounding from Leupold's Canadian distributor.

They were not the cheapest around town but they have what you want..The cheapest in Canada would be Wholesalesports if you are not in a hurry

The last two Leupold VX-iii that I purchased were from eBay in US. They saved me an average of Can$200 per scope after paying GST/PST.

Danny,

Any recent purchase to determine if export permit is required for ALL rifle scopes, even used non-tactical types?

Thanks

x3 with Wolverine Supplies. I asked for a specific model, VXIII 4.5-14 x 40, B&C reticle, gun-metal grey finish. They had it in no time, I was the slowpoke... with the payments. Their price was lower than I had expected, to top it off great service.
