Best Leupold Scope - AR/Hunting/LR

Looking to get some discussion going about the benefits out there using different Leupold scopes for certain applications. Hoping that people out there can share their experiences and criticisms about using Leupold optics.

LEUPOLD ONLY PLEASE.

Best for CQB?
Best for AR?
Best for big game hunting?
Best for varmint?
Best for Long Range?
Fixed vs. Variable?
VX3 vs. VX3-L?

Etc. etc.

I have ZERO connection to Leupold or anyone who sells Leupold. I just like them and may be switching to Leupold only on my rifles.

I used to use Leupold but didn't like the changing eye relief and found that for the same money Zeiss Conquest line is much better.

CQB: Leupold Prismatic 1x
Better glass than Aimpoint or EOTech.
Fixed reticle with optional red lit.
Battery life ~= EOTech but inconsequential since you still have a reticle when the battery dies.
Removed and boxed up both my PRO and XPS2 when I got the Leupold.

AR: Leupold Mark AR
3-9x T2 BDC
Also works good on most other .223 rifles (XCR, SL8, etc.).
