Any owners of a Husqvarna 4100 Lightweight 7x57 on here?

What have you found to be the best bullet/powder/primer combination for accuracy please?

I wouldn't hesitate to hunt moose or elk with a 140 grain bullet if that shot best in my rifle, but if a 160 or 175 grain bullet was the most accurate, then I wouldn't hesitate to use that either on everything from deer on up.

Thank you to Why Not for the 175 gr. recipe.

Because of the slow twist barrels, they like RN bullets, at least mine does above 140grs.....Mine likes the Hornady 154's and 175's...I push the 175s to about 2500fps with RL22 or H4350. That will be several grains over max in most loading manuals and must only be done in a good strong action...not a M96, so work up slowly

I havn't spent much time working with mine yet and do want to work up a load with tougher, heavier bullets, but my 130grn speer boat-tails over 48grns of W760 and Federal magnum primers shoots well (COAL approx 3 1/16"). 1/2-3/4" 3 shot groups and 1-1 1/2" 6 shot groups. Good luck!

I had half a box of Hornady "Custom" ammunition with the 154 gr. bullets I picked up at a gun show and they shot very well in my 4100, then when I tried to get more I discovered they discontinued that loading.
