I picked up one of those Loadbooks USA for my 340 Weatherby, it appears to be full of info. The book is just dedicated to the Weatherby Magnums from 300Wby to the 460Wby, it includes info from powder manufacturers and bullet manufacturers in just one book, not bad for $18. I see that you can get these books for other various calibers as well, they come by the caliber rather than one book many for calibers, this gets you one or two calibers and many recipes for that caliber.

So why is it the best loading book you own? What are some of the guts of it that made you write that? just being curious.

B. Ruddick.
It contains detailed dimensioned drawings of almost every cartridge known to man (1000 or so are in the book).
Details how to form/ make cases for obsolete cartridges both North American and Metric. Includes wildcats. Also gives loading data for most.
Huge resource base for enthusiasts.
If I ever see a 12.8 X 45R Papal Remington rifle for sale, I will grab it knowing I can make my own ammo.;)
If you would like to see what a page looks like, send me your e by PM and I will scan a page and send it to you.

Ah, got it, sounds like something that would work for my great granddaddies Winchester 1886 .40-82WCF or something like that. Probably the oldest rifle I will soon own.
Does it mention anything about old black powder reloads for such a caliber as the one I just mentioned? That would be awesome.
By the way what was the price of the book with all the bells & whistles of cross border shipping, etc.. Thanks

I had an earlier edition of this book when I was more of a rifle nut. Lots of good info if you are into odd ball calibres.

The edition I had was a bit dated at the time but it was still a fascinating read.
