The best looking handgun I ever handled was a commercial 30cal Luger Carbine. Guy wanted $125 (1962) for it, which I did not have. I still think about it.

All kidding aside, my vote would have to go to either the S&W 945, or the Korth Combat Revolver

Walther PPK, Sig p230 (the only attractive Sig), classic blue 1911, Beretta 92 and S&W L frames. Other examples that float my boat: S&W 4506, CZ 97B, Star FR, first series Browning Challenger and Medalist. There is something about the British New Land Pattern Cavalry flintlock pistol, or maybe the nostalgia that is appealing... about sums up the theme of my list: no ray guns or material used in construction that you'd find in "the messy kitchen cupboard".

I damn near bought a cap and ball revolver from... Questar maybe? It was a crazy good sale, $260 I do believe. I just wasn't ready to get into BP... I often kick myself for that one... I want to say it was a 1858 Remington?
