So I picked up a new m305 stock, So I can try painting and to bubba it. The old one I had some cheap rail with a tapco stubby front grip...

I like using the front grip along with a sling for accurate standing shooting. I wasn't a fan of the vertical stubby so I ordered a AFG from magpul.

The final issue I have is with the rail I orderd, its so thick it is like a cm minimum... So it is rather uncomfortable. Especially when my finger gets pinched between it and the sling attachment point...

Does any one know of any good low profile rails that come with hardware so I can zip a couple holes in the stock and attach it ?

Here is a picture of the old stock, you can see how thick that rail is. Only 2 of my fingers use the stubby grip. IE why I switch to the AFG its a much more natural feel.

Another pic of it in the new stock, you can see here also how thick the rail is

You complain its to thick...the next person will complain its to whimpy and bendy. I think for the most part manufacturers follow the MIL spec design for their rails...which means you will get a robust design. Check out the chinese air soft market, might find something there

Im picky, I was thinking of maybe filing it down, or filing the stock down a little bit and embedding it slightly.
