Remember to use plenty of grease in the op rod and the spring. Use more than lots on your Garands follower spring for smoother operation all round.

SUPERLUBE. They have an awesome one. It doesn't melt off and it coats like lithium , nice and thick so a little bit goes a long way. Its also clear too. And readily available. Home depot/ home hardware.

CLP works just fine. I use this on my M1A and other stuff I own.

I use lubriplate 105 motor assembly grease. Works great on pricy engines and guns. Not sure of the diffidence between the 130 and 105. 105 is what I have so it gets used.

I use something that's in a blue tube just smaller than a Pringles can. The lube is blue. Don't recall what brand and it's downstairs with me upstairs sorry.

I'm not positive but I believe what I use is Lucas high temp wheel bearing grease. No complaints about it

I use M-Pro7 LPX CLP on my 1989 vintage M1A, and all other firearms that I own. Never any problems.

I used to use regular bearing grease on mine and it worked fine, now I use Aeroshell 33MS grease on every gun I own. It stays better and it's rated for higher pressures.

I've been using XF-7 Gun Grease for almost 10 years, it's excellent.

I use white lithium like tactical teacher says to do. Why? Cause he's THE guru on M-14's, and I don't want my #### to fall off!
