best m14 style rifle off the shelf

I gotta agree with you LRB fans. I've stuck with the SAInc receivers lately because it happens to be my price point for the time being. I did get introduced to the LRB fun up in ; where else but Fort MakeMoney where an LRB is only a few shifts away :)

Get it? Ha ha ha ha

The extra quite of the LRB was quite evident. Mind you for a Norinco owner like me, the SAInc finish is a welcome treat.

Thanks for the chance to drool :D

Cheers, Barney

why wouldn't it have been a warranty claim?

Look I didn't mention it to slag SA. Maybe I should remove the post?
Anyhow, my friend who bought the rifle throws all kinds of crap away LOL he's got money to burn and didn't want the warranty hassle of sending a rifle across the border. His choice. For me, I could care less and appreciate the good deal on a match barrel, sights, gas sytem, oprod and trigger eect.
Who cares why we didn't warranty it. I made it worth his while.
Also, it's nice to add a non buildable receiver to my collection as it will actually serve the rest of it's life as a tool in my current endeavors.
Now, back to the thread :)

Good ole Fort Makemoney.........LOL

Tis a lovely rifle indeed.....Thanks Thomas.
(Built before complete LRB's were available with mostly NOS USGI and Krieger parts)

Aha... Mr Wolf!

That was a highlight of my life:

* visiting Fort MakeMoney
* doing that 2 day clinic
* playing with a certain LRB
* meeting all you dudes up in Northern AB

Hey, maybe next year is my year for an LRB :D ha ha ha ha

Cheers,
Barney

I didn't mean to question your motives, etc. and I didn't think you were slagging SAI. I was simply just curious, given their warranty. I didn't know if it had changed or if Canadians were excluded. Thanks for taking the time to clarify.

Well if i get one it will be a m25. Going back out to the pipeline soon. Might look into one. What kind of grouping at 100 yards or farther do you know about?

Don't know if this helps but it's mostly SA National Matches/loaded that have made the 1.5 MOA challenge in Canada. In a similar challenge in the US its mostly M21s, Loadeds and various medium/heavy barrel rigs.
