Best mag fed pump shotgun??

Hi,
Looking for advices to buy a mag fed pump action shotgun.
The features I’m looking for is :
- reliability
- compact
- folding

So Far, I researched the following:
- Canuck Recon 2
- FMP
- Iron Horse Entry 12
- Mossberg 590RM Mag Fed

What are your experiences with those? Best place to buy?

Canuck is Turkish if I’m not mistaken, I have little faith in the longevity of any of the Turkish made guns that aren’t from any of the big manufacturers, as well as parts availability. I’d likely trust a Turkish made Winchester or CZ over one of the others, if I had to have a mag fed pump I’d probably look for a 870DM on the used market or a 590. The mossberg mags are huge in size, the 870 mags are slimmer and they seem to work well.

From what I remember about handling the 870DM was you could load a single shell through the port on an empty mag, the mag follower wasn’t in the way or blocking the bolt from closing. Magazines are the weak point with a mag fed shotgun, those giant drum mags would be horrible. Picture trying to pump the action with that big drum getting in the way, not to mention how heavy they make the gun if you are in the bush with it. Tube fed is a better set up but if you’re set on a mag fed 12g find the one that feeds the most reliably is the only advise I have, the one I have is reliable but only after all fair bit of tuning on my part.
 
I have the recon 2 and the 590M
The recon 2 is ok but it doesn’t feed reliably I had to cut off a couple coils on the mag spring
The Mossberg is heavier and better built for sure if I could only have one it would be the 590M
The best thing would be to get the 590M shockwave and put the ATI folding stock on it

they come in and out of stock. I got mine from Doctordeals but they are currently out of stock too.
My understanding is they are 870 accessory compatible.
 
The best I've used is the brixia/valtro Pm5 but kinda a unicorn now and mags were not the easiest to find. I wish I would have kept the 2 i had with 12 mags.
 
Buy the 590M you won’t regret it.
It is in every way great. Fun. Reliable.
We have the 5,10, and 15 round mags and they all work perfect.
We got it from Tenda zero issues there.

I don't see the Grizzly Mag on the list.
Norinco firearms have taken a lot of flak from those who assume anything made in China is garbage. Those who actually own them typically praise them to be well-built, very reliable and a good value. I've had zero issues with my Grizzlies and they're smoother and more reliable than a typical current production 870.
