best magazines for 10/22?

I have of of those short 30rd shooters ridge one.
I won't be buying another one or anything shooter's ridge.

I was out at the range on Thursday breaking in my 10/22. I was trying out the stock mag, BC mag and Shooter's 30-rnd mag (all steel lipped).

The stock mag was rock solid, but both the BC and Shooter's gave me the odd problem. Thing is, I don't know if the issue is with the gun or rifle at this point. That being said, the steel lipped shooter's ridge hasn't given yet a reason to believe it is worse than the bc.

Time will tell, planning on heading back to the range within a couple of weeks.

Seems lots of people have issues regardless of material used...

Glad to see I'm not the only one with a magazine addiction problem w:h:

Like others have said, stock mags work great.

I also have lots of experience with the BC mags. I started with two steel lip BC mags bought years ago: one always worked, while the other would always have problems advancing rounds up. I tried filing inside the problematic one but I could never fix it, so I threw it out. The other looks cracked around the top but it's still going strong. I recently bought 5 more steel lip BC mags and they all work great.

I wish we could get the BX-25 mags, because they can be disassembled for cleaning, unlike the BC mags. I've used the TI25 mags but I don't like having to #### around with the set screws; the stock and BC mags seem to work just fine without requiring that feature. Also, I don't like how the stainless set screws scrape away the paint on the inside of the receiver.
