Best Mags + ammo for 10/22?

HC3R mags are pretty good along with the BC 25 round mags. Some people have issues with the HC3R mags but if you load them correctly they work really well. My 10/22 likes Remington, federal, CCI mini mags. Winchester sucks, I've only ever had issues with them. Try different kinds of ammo see what works for you. I only clean my 10/22 about every 2000 rounds or so.

In my experience the h3cr mags are better than the butler creek mags, less fail to feed and no stove piping. The Bc mags were a little better if you dident load them fully (19-20 rnds).

I used shooters ridge and for me they were jam o matic crap.
I use BC with very few problems.
Federal, CCI blazer

I avoid Winchester and remington.

YMMV

tactical inc magazines and minimags

i have heard some amazing things about the tactical inc mags as well. they are probably the hardest to find out of the BC steel lips, HC3R, and the tactical inc. overall for reliability from what i have heard the tactical inc ones are just as reliable as the ruger 25 round mags we cant get in canada. the hc3r's are ideally the same reliability (if loaded correctly) and they have an amazing stripper clip design (and can be easily ordered from amazon canada). the BC steel lips are the least expensive of the three, still very reliable, not quite as durable (the others are made from tougher material), easiest to find, and are an amazing band for your buck.

as for ammo, stay away from winchester. for the rest just try stuff out. buy smaller boxes until you find something your gun likes (if you care about accuracy).

Butler creek 25 end mags work great for me. For ammo I've found winchester 333 and 555 to be right on par as far as function and accuracy goes with cci of any variety. Mine hates fed 525 packs, which sucks having 5 bricks of it and only one 22 at the moment

Butler creek mags don't work with my takedown worth a sh*t. Mini mags and blazers are what it likes. I just stick to the stock ruger 10 round now.
