I will put in my A-OK for the 303 with 180gr because it is the one that I have experience with.I have personally seen about a dozen moose fall to the 303.I still own three 303's and bring one along as a spare when moose hunting,my first choice is my 30-06.
If you read Jack O'connors idea of the ideal bush gun where bullet deflection is an issue(jack pine timber,spruce bottoms and willow swamps),he says 180gr round nose bullet at about 2400fps is the ticket.Pretty well describes the 303 to a "T" now doesen't it
