Best modern production 'Mannlicher'?

.... Its listed/shown on the Ruger Web Page .....308 "International" ... they look and feel a lot better in the "flesh" so to speak, not that I can afford one now that I'm retired ! ( If it were available in 7x57, maybe it'd be worth fighting the Battle of Household Budget ! ) ... David K.

Probably the last 2 rifles I will ever get rid of are a pair of "mannlicher" (full stocked) Sako rifles - one is in 243W , the other in 375H&H.

The 243W with 90gr Sako ammunition or 100gr partitions is a wonderful Eastern whitetail rifle ... the 375H&H is just "because"....but shoots very tight groups as well....they both have very nice handling in the field.

Probably out of your budget, but here's my BRNO, I'm kinda proud of it. it's a 7x57, made in 1949. I just think those old rifles have a lot of class.

Sako Mannlicher AV

My favorite Mannlicher is a Sako AV Model in 270, on the bottom of the picture. The Sako with the stickers on the stock is gone but the rest are keepers, unless a great military firearm comes along. Can't keep them all.
