Best/most accurate 7-08 factory loads?

As for the 7mm-08 you'll just have to experiment, there is no this brand beats this brand type of standard here, every rifle will like what it likes, and since you claim price is no object why not try reloading.
Same thing for the SAUM.

Well it looks like you'll have to find what works in your rifle, and yes it takes time. There is no pat answer for what will work. Every rifle is an entity unto it's self so if your serious this will take time.
As for your 300SAUM guess what, only Remington has loadings for it.
Good luck, and sorry there is'nt a simple answer.

The standard Remingtom Express factory load of the 140gr Corelokt pointed soft point (PSP) works quite well,, and is available at most places that sell Remington ammo.

It shoots under an inch in my M700 BDL,, and in my experience has performed perfectly on white tail out to about 200m.

The Rem 120gr hollow point also shoots very accuratly,, but I have never hunted with it and probably never will.

If you MUST use factory ammo, then you're better off sticking to the most popular calibres. Really, the only viable choices IMHO are the .308 and .223. Huge variety of factory ammo, including match.

.243, .270, 30/06, blah blah blah.....available everywhere.....blah blah blah....Have 'em all.:D

I allready have the gun (700 mountain LSS) and, as it says, I'm looking for a place to START. I was just wondering if anybody is loading premium bullets in their factory offerings. (accubonds, Barnes, failsafes, etc)

Thanks for the advice though.......:p

Try the Nitrex line from CCI. They load the speer grandslam (145 gr). I use this bullet in my handloads and it has never failed me yet.

nobody loads the 300saum other than Remington. time to reload.

as for the 7-08, Id try either the Winchester Supreme 140 gr. Ballistic Silvertips or any of the four Federal premium loads with either the 140 gr. Nosler Partition, Accubond, Ballistic Tip, or Solid Base bt.

PS, Speer Nitrex is extinct
