Beautiful deer, congrats to you John as well as Diane. I sure miss hunting mule deer in the hills around Eastend.
I was just talking with Dad the other day about the gun shoots we used to go to with you guys. I especially remember one in particular that you guys took me to in Shaunavon.

Thank you Jason, as I remember you took first in trap at that shoot. I want to also say what wonderful comments all of you gave Diane and I She feels very special that you all liked her hunt and story.
No pictures yet, but I also got a great Non Typical Mulie yesterday but not an easy hunt. Three days of hiking deep coulees and some of it in eight inches of snow, pretty tough on a old guy........

So this thread was to be just about Diane's beautiful buck. Never in my life did I think we would both harvest the greatest Mulie Bucks of our hunting career. Thanks of course to Anthony and Brayden check out more pictures and the story on this link https://www.facebook.com/wheatkingadventures/?pnref=story Tony just decided he was going to find me a monster, so he and Braden just kept looking through a snow storm for the gnarly old boy below and found him for me, I had to climb up over down , up over, down and then across a couple of the highest peaks in the Cypress Hills
Then my old 1964 Husqvarna 7mm Mag and a couple of handloaded Berger 168 Gr. VLD's did the job. It was so great to hunt with two nice young guys like them and all the time had Diane out spotting with me and she was able to watch some of hunt from the truck.
