NEA has a pretty nice black stainless steel heavy break that i am thinking of getting, if i can ever find out where they are selling it lol

about time u said where exactly i could buy them i asked on the 27th on the post where u showed them off but no response 
Has anyone here actually tested any of the available brakes side by side? I don't find the X39 to kick much but anything that helps me print better groups faster is something I want
I've used the Dlask brake and no brake side by side.
At 100m, I would say that stock I get kicked about 1.5 to 2m off target, with the Dlask I get kicked about .5m off target.
Waiting for my new CZ 858-2 to arrive from Wolverine and then I shall add after market parts. I was looking at buying one of these, CZ Large ported brake, Dlask A6 Muzzlebrake, Rauch Bulldog brake, but then I saw the Neit Arms Heavy brake. I like the idea of supporting a member here so tend to lean towards the Neit Arms or Rauch.
The Neit Arms and CZ heavy brake have ports for gas to escape from the top as well as sides; will this give superior performance to larger side ports or does it even matter? Not sure which way to go and your opinions would be appreciated.

Bought the NEA heavy brake. See this topic has been brought up numerous times which is likely why there were no responses. As a new Cz owner this Red rifle forum is a great resource, still have to wonder which style of break is most effective.
No. The spring loaded thingy in the front sight base goes into the groove dingus on the brake to index it. See the pic.
Does that beat up the thread on the rifle?
How is noise compared to stock?
Probably not built for an indoor range.
On an interesting sidenote the only thing that is rusting on my VZ is the thread protector; go figure!.

No. That's the way it's designed to be.
It's louder to the sides than no brake, but that's the way brakes are. Plugs and muffs would be indicated to shoot any rifle inside, IMO.
Start cleaning it. If you are, clean it better.
