I've put about 600 rounds through my NEA heavy brake. It does improve control and is a good value.
I do have a couple of complaints about it though. It has a tendency to send hot, unburned powder to either side of the shooter. The shock wave is annoying, but not disturbing like the smith brake on the m14. The smith brake, on the m14 does not seem to send unburned powder to the sides.
It does not add much additional length to the cz858, and it's profile is not likely to become hung up on stuff.
