Best Muzzle Brake for SKS

ill try to take some photos tomorrow, its not a big deal it just needs some massaging with a light file. ill try to find a vernier or mic tomorrow to get you the exact measurements.
Off-hand it's not that bad. But when I am on the bench shooting with a bipod, it causes the bipod to flex and jump ... lol

Yeah. It looks cool...think I'll install a muzzle brake on my 10-22. That'll make it look cool. I mean really...taming the ferocious recoil of the SKS is a tremendously important undertaking.
Don't forget to devise some kind of recoil reducing device for your slingshots as well. That'll make 'em look cool...

People are free to modify their stuff however they see fit. Nobody in this thread was told they *need* a brake for their SKS, its just something they want to add. They do add some LCF and help keep the muzzle down for faster rapid fire strings. Looking down your nose at someone for adding a $10 accessory to a $200 rifle is very pompous assed. Let em do what they want you fudds!
the one I had on my first build, it fit snug but not tight enough that I could go without the clamp. The screws that NC star provide were cheap, and when I tried to torque them down, the hex key rounded out the socket hole.

But i'm pretty sure its a socket head cap screw.
If its a poor grade screw, you can buy a better one ( higher grade )
And add loctite (blue) on the threads...
What you think of that JT ?
