I want to give the Visa one more kick in the groin before the Jan bill comes and reality sets in.....

Who has the best selection and price on NF scopes around? I'm looking for something in either 22 or 32, NP-R1 or MilDot with the zero stop.

We stock the 22s and 32s in R1 and R2 reticles.
The 8x32 is not offered with zero stop so that limits your options.
Pricing through any of the "authorized" dealers should be very close to the same.
Be aware that there are some who claim to NF dealers but in fact are smuggling scopes into Canada. IF you should have a warranty issue with a scope not exported from NF to an authorized dealer warranty is denied.
NF DOES keep track of serial numbers of legally exported scopes.
 
We have a large shipment of Nightforce coming soon and should have most models in stock. Yes look for an authorized dealer (we are) so you feel confident in warranty if you ever need it. Our prices are on line and may drop if the dollar exchange continues to improve. Phil.

Going to mount on a 5R 308 that I plan to re-barrel to a 6.5x47 in the future, or a high power rig (300/338) I plan to buy in the near future. Right now I've got a 15 power NF and a 6500 Elite. The Elite is nice but the NF...wow!

I shoot mainly at the Fort McMurray range...mostly out to 500 yds but they have a 1000 yd spot I want to evolve to.

For either the 308 or 6.5x47 the 5.5x22 would be my recommendation due to the 100 MOA of elevation in the scope. The 8x32s only have 65MOA so may limit you at 1000 yards unless you put a steep canted rail on.

I thought Ft Mac already had 1000 yards up and approved, am I missing something?
 
I think he's saying that they have the 1000 yard range, and he wants to work up to it..
