Hey there just thinking about getting a Norinco pistol in 9mm, what do you guys suggest as being the best one for quality etc?
:?:

I have one of the NZ85s. It is fantastic. I have NEVER had a stoppage. The only problem that I had was a screw loosening once after about 4000 rounds.

The fit and finish is on par with a CZ.

NZ85B for sure. I got one from Armco and love it.

Do your self a favour and buy better grips off the bat, you will want them.

I was thinking a Sig 226 clone is about 1/3 -1/4 of the price of the real deal, while the CZ 85 clone is only ½ the price, so wouldn’t it be better to save up a little and get the CZ since it’s fairly cheep anyway?

I want to get a Sig but I can’t accord (and refuse) to pay $1200+for a basic model, so to me it makes sense to buy a Norinco for $350. I’d like to own a CZ one day as well but since they’re only ~$600-700 I'd rather have the original...

I've heard a lot about aliminium frames on norcs, which exact ones have these frames?

For example I'm looking at the 77b and the NP 40, do any of these have aluminium frames?

Marstar REALLY needs to update their webpages to include detailed descriptions.

I bought the improved Tokarev in 9mm. My first pistol purchase, did not want to spend too much to start with. Only fired 50 or so rounds yet but I definately like it, seems to be a good value for the money anyways.

Yeah.. it is a little... big.

Here's a "friendly"version.

Just got one of those Norinco M77-B's,that thing is heavy and
a little rough around the edge's,but it does go bang everytime.
$229.00 not bad for a cheap 9mm.

Not the best 9mm around though.;)

I loved my NP29. I also had great success with my .45 Norc 1911. If you really want a 9mm version, jump on the NP29... Problem is... Marstar seems to be regularly out of them....

Cheers,
Barney

Forget about the 77b it is too heavy and way too much recoil for a 9mm
