I'm surprised that EM-332 are still available on Marstar. People probably think this gun is overpriced. Not at all. EM makes the best rimfires in China, and some of its models have been used by Chinese national team. While JW makes the most low end rimfires, JW's best product so far is an airgun.

Only 5,000 EM-332 were made. The craftsmanship on this gun is phenominal. By far this gun is the most popular among all rich Chinese businessmen who can afford for a gun club membership. Believe it or not.

I want one!

These are great rifles! I don't own one but definitely would love to. My buddy at McGill has one and rubs it in my face every chance he gets! Unfortunately getting one of these is just not practical for me as I am a lefty AND a starving student. If there is any rimfire that'd make convert to the dark side this one is it. :)

I've just handled and looked at one. The fit and finish on the metal is good. The wood is soft splintery stuff like the Norc M14s with a heavy filler/stain/varnish finish on it. I think they are a good buy for the buck. The design borrows heavily from the Anschutz match 54 action.

Does anyone have pics and a review?

Maybe they don't let any alternatives into the country.

Wow. $239........

I paid $225 last Jan for my MKII

The MKII is closer to $300 now but still.

Don't get me wrong I have no problem buying chi-com firearms, some of my favorite pistols are Nork's.... But if I could get better/same quality for the same $$$ I definatly have to choose the non-Chicom.

My $.02

Come to think of it, that action does look a little bit like an Anschuetz 54 action.

I wonder why the Chinese use such soft wood on their rifles. Surely, there must be some sort of hardwood that grows in China that would be better suited to making gunstocks.

Does anybody have any idea how well these rifles shoot?

I know a businessman who does have access to brand name rifles like Remington or whatever. But to get an EM332, he spent at least two grand to buy dinners for his connections. Hey I'm not trying to sell this gun for Marstar. Honestly, we all know how a two hundred dollars 'brand name' gun shoots.

I have a JW-15 (I'm pretty sure it is just a jw-25 in a different stock prettywell) and when you first get it one of 2 things will be wierd on it, either the sights would be crooked, or the action will be stiff. The crooked sights you can't fix unless your a gunsmith really, but the stiff action you just have to kinda ride through until it eventually smoothens itself up, just make sure you clean out the metal shavings every once in a while lol.

I had the .22 Mauser trainer courtesy of the Lever Arms $99 sale a couple of years ago. Came in a liquid bag of cosmoline, sights were crooked...though the trigger was surprisingly good. Ended up selling it on less than a year later for about the same I paid for it.

The bad part of Marstar is their items are usually out of stock. I know this 22 is not but they had resonably priced repeaters and semi's but are still listed after months but are sold out, same with ammo and centerfire rifles, even the used stuff. Somebody there should get on their site and update and remove it if they're sold or not restocking. It's a pain in the a$$ to look and click and then find it's out of stock. It actually worse than Wholesale sports.

Makes you wonder if an anschutz trigger would bolt on there. This would be an awefully cheap way to get an action that your just going to throw a different barrel and trigger on anyway. I think for $250 I might just give that a try.

One this is certain, there aren't any on the 'EE so people who've bought them are hanging onto them. You can't say the same for the other nork rimfires.
Cheers,
Grant

the EM332 surprised my friend today after he saw the actual gun. very well milled and finished. only by looking at the two magzines coming with the gun, you will wonder since when a chinese gun has had fine mags? you buy their 1911s for the gun, but you would scrap their POS factory mags and go get better made mags for 1911s.
